RivenLens Terms of Service

Status: EFFECTIVE Version: 2026-10-10-v3 Effective date: October 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

RivenLens (“RivenLens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the RivenLens website, software, features, grading tools, market-analysis tools, account and profile features, saved-Riven features, marketplace listings, trade-coordination tools, documentation, beta services, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Service.

By accessing or using the Service after these Terms become effective, or by selecting an acceptance control where RivenLens presents one, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use a private or prerelease RivenLens beta, additional beta terms may apply. The current RivenLens Beta Tester NDA & Limited Competitive-Use Agreement (the “Beta Agreement”) is incorporated as additional terms for beta participants. If these Terms and the Beta Agreement conflict about confidential beta information, beta access, or permitted use of nonpublic beta material, the Beta Agreement controls for that subject.

2. Eligibility and age

The public RivenLens Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18. RivenLens does not routinely require identification documents or a date of birth to verify visitors' ages. Anyone under 18 should not create an account or use the Service. This eligibility requirement does not remove applicable legal protections if RivenLens learns that a user is underage.

Private contractual beta participation requires the participant to be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering the applicable Beta Agreement.

RivenLens may restrict participation if it becomes aware that the age requirement is not met, subject to applicable law and the protections described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Independent Warframe community service

RivenLens is an independent, fan-created service. RivenLens is not Digital Extremes Ltd., is not operated by Digital Extremes, and is not sponsored, endorsed, or officially approved by Digital Extremes unless RivenLens expressly states otherwise in a written announcement authorized by Digital Extremes.

Warframe, related game content, names, characters, artwork, logos, trademarks, and other Digital Extremes intellectual property belong to Digital Extremes and/or its licensors. RivenLens does not claim ownership of that third-party intellectual property.

References to Warframe, Digital Extremes, Warframe.market, Patreon, an advertiser, a sponsor, or another third-party product or service identify compatibility, data sources, supporter services, sponsorship relationships, or subject matter only and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

4. What RivenLens provides

RivenLens provides tools intended to help users evaluate, organize, and trade Warframe Riven Mods, including grading, comparison, market analysis, price recommendations, screenshot-assisted data entry, informational exports, account/profile features, saved-Riven libraries, user-to-user marketplace listings, and trade-coordination features.

RivenLens may use multiple sources and methods, including RivenLens-developed grading and pricing logic, public market listings, public or official game data, and other available information. Features, methodologies, supported weapons, data sources, marketplace functionality, and outputs may change as the Service develops.

5. Grading, valuation, and marketplace

RivenLens grades, scores, comparable analyses, market grades, and price ranges are informational estimates and recommendations, not guarantees.

Riven values can change based on market conditions, buyer demand, platform, timing, Riven disposition changes, game updates, listing quality, negotiation, buyer preferences, available comparable sales, and other factors outside RivenLens' control. A Riven may sell above or below a RivenLens estimate, may not sell within a suggested time period, or may not sell at all.

RivenLens may operate marketplace features that allow users to save Rivens, publish listings, state asking prices or trade terms, discover listings, and coordinate potential trades with other users. A marketplace listing or RivenLens valuation does not guarantee that a listed Riven remains available or that a proposed trade will be completed.

RivenLens is a listing, discovery, and trade-coordination marketplace only. Every actual Riven transfer must be completed directly between the participating users inside Warframe. RivenLens does not take possession, custody, or control of a user's Warframe inventory or the Riven being listed, and RivenLens does not transfer an in-game item from one user to another.

RivenLens is not the buyer or seller in a user-to-user Riven trade and does not act as either user's agent or fiduciary, an escrow service, a custodian of in-game items, a payment processor for the in-game trade, an investment adviser, a financial adviser, or a guarantor of the transaction.

A listing, offer, acceptance, message, trade-coordination status, or other indication that users intend or agree to trade does not cause RivenLens to reserve or place a hold on the Riven, guarantee exclusivity, or guarantee completion of the trade. Until the actual in-game trade is completed, a seller may remove or change a listing, the Riven may become unavailable, or either user may decide not to proceed. A seller may also sell or trade the Riven to another person in Warframe before a proposed RivenLens-arranged trade is completed.

If one user withdraws, fails or refuses to complete a proposed trade, changes the proposed terms, becomes unavailable, or sells or trades the Riven to someone else, RivenLens is not responsible for completing the trade, supplying a substitute Riven, reimbursing Platinum or other value that was never transferred through RivenLens, or otherwise guaranteeing the other user's performance. To the extent users create any commitment between themselves, that commitment is solely between those users; RivenLens is not a party to it and does not enforce it as a transaction counterparty.

Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings and for confirming another user's identity, platform, listed Riven, availability, asking price, and trade terms before completing a transaction. Actual Riven transfers occur directly between users through Warframe and remain subject to Digital Extremes' rules, platform rules, and any applicable in-game trading requirements.

RivenLens Marketplace may be used only to coordinate trades that the participating users intend to complete through Warframe's supported in-game trading interface and in accordance with Digital Extremes' rules. You may not use RivenLens to buy, sell, transfer, or offer a Warframe account; exchange a Riven, Platinum, account, or other Warframe item for cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, non-Warframe goods or services, or other outside consideration; sell Platinum for real-world value; or otherwise coordinate a transaction that Digital Extremes does not permit through the Warframe trading interface.

A Confirmed RivenLens Trade, confirmed-trade count, or review means that the participating RivenLens users completed the applicable RivenLens confirmation steps. It is not an independent verification by Digital Extremes, does not establish that Digital Extremes observed or approved the trade, and does not guarantee that every user statement about a trade is accurate. Users may report suspected false confirmations, review manipulation, scams, or abuse, and RivenLens may hide, remove, restrict, or investigate related marketplace or reputation content.

Marketplace users should promptly update or remove listings that are no longer available or materially accurate. Intentionally or repeatedly maintaining false, misleading, or knowingly stale listings may result in listing removal, marketplace restrictions, or account action under these Terms.

RivenLens may remove, hide, suspend, or limit marketplace listings or marketplace access where reasonably necessary to address stale or misleading listings, fraud, scams, abuse, manipulation, security concerns, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms. RivenLens may also moderate repeated bad-faith marketplace conduct, but marketplace moderation does not create a duty to police every proposed trade or guarantee another user's honesty, ownership, availability, responsiveness, or performance.

Third-party market or game data may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, or changed by its provider. RivenLens cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party information.

6. Accounts, profiles, authentication, saved Rivens, and access security

Where the Service requires authentication, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account, sign-in method, and access credentials. You may not share private beta access or credentials unless RivenLens expressly permits it.

RivenLens currently provides account and profile features, saved-Riven libraries, marketplace listings, messaging/trade-coordination features, profile pictures, presence controls, confirmed-trade records, and reputation/review features. Warframe in-game-name verification is not currently active on the production Service and may be displayed as Coming soon; prerelease or beta channels may use separate verification tooling. Information that a feature clearly identifies as public—such as a RivenLens username, Warframe in-game name, platform, selected profile information, profile picture, verification status when available, presence state, supporter badge/flair, marketplace listing, asking price, confirmed-trade count, reputation information, or review—may be visible to other users or the public as described by that feature and the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for information you choose to make public and should not publish passwords, authentication tokens, financial-account information, private contact information, or other sensitive information in a profile, listing, or trade note unless a feature specifically and safely requires it.

You must provide information that is accurate to the extent RivenLens requires it for authentication, contracting, privacy requests, supporter-benefit administration, account administration, saved-Riven features, or marketplace use. Marketplace users should update or remove listings that are no longer available or materially inaccurate.

RivenLens may use reasonable technical controls such as authentication, access rules, rate limits, logging, anti-abuse measures, marketplace moderation, and security checks to protect the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You may use RivenLens only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Unless RivenLens expressly authorizes an activity, you may not:

Good-faith security research is not prohibited merely because it identifies a vulnerability. If you discover a security weakness, report it privately to RivenLens and do not exploit it beyond what is reasonably necessary to verify and describe the issue.

8. User-submitted material, profiles, listings, and screenshots

You retain ownership of material you lawfully own and submit to RivenLens, such as profile content, a profile picture, saved-Riven information, marketplace listing content, direct messages, trade confirmations, reviews, reports, a Riven screenshot, or other user-provided content (“User Material”). A message, report, or other submission intended for a limited recipient or moderation workflow does not become public merely because it is User Material; public visibility is governed by the feature and the Privacy Policy.

You grant RivenLens a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, host, process, reproduce, transform, and display User Material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, moderate, and improve the feature for which you submitted it, comply with law, resolve a dispute involving that submission, or display information you chose to make public through a profile or marketplace listing.

This ordinary User Material license is not intended to give RivenLens a perpetual commercial ownership interest in a screenshot, saved Riven, or marketplace listing merely because you used the Service.

You represent that you have the rights reasonably necessary to submit User Material and that your submission will not violate law or another person's rights. For marketplace listings, you must not knowingly claim to own or offer a Riven that you do not control or cannot lawfully trade.

Where a Riven screenshot is processed entirely on-device, the screenshot is not uploaded to RivenLens merely because you selected or scanned it. The Privacy Policy explains the current technical behavior in more detail.

9. Feedback and suggestions

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, feature ideas, bug reports, comments, test observations, or other feedback about RivenLens (“Feedback”), you grant RivenLens a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, incorporate, publish, distribute, commercialize where otherwise lawful, and otherwise use that Feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation or attribution.

This Feedback license applies to ideas and feedback about RivenLens. It does not transfer ownership of your preexisting or independently developed intellectual property merely because you submitted Feedback.

10. RivenLens intellectual property

As between you and RivenLens, RivenLens retains its rights in the Service and in original RivenLens materials, including its software, original source code, site design, branding, documentation, proprietary grading methodology, proprietary pricing methodology, scoring systems, original databases and compilations, server-side logic, marketplace software, and other original materials, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.

No license is granted except the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

RivenLens does not claim ownership of Warframe or other third-party intellectual property merely because third-party names, data, or material are referenced by the Service.

11. Third-party services, links, and data

RivenLens may interoperate with, link to, or use information from third parties, including data providers, infrastructure providers, authentication providers, supporter platforms such as Patreon, advertising providers, sponsors, community services, Warframe, or communication destinations chosen by users. Those third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

RivenLens is not responsible for a third party's service, content, availability, security, policies, or independent actions. A link, reference, advertisement, supporter relationship, sponsorship, marketplace listing, or data integration does not constitute an endorsement unless expressly stated.

12. Service changes, maintenance, and availability

RivenLens may add, remove, modify, suspend, limit, test, or discontinue features or portions of the Service. Beta or experimental features may change without notice and may contain errors or incomplete functionality.

RivenLens does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, permanently available, or compatible with every browser, device, Warframe update, marketplace change, or third-party service.

13. Support, advertising, sponsorships, and memberships

Under this version of the Terms, RivenLens' funding model keeps core RivenLens functionality free and includes optional supporter memberships such as Patreon. RivenLens may also introduce passive advertising placements and sponsorships in the future.

Supporter memberships are voluntary contributions to support RivenLens and may include tier-based recognition, community, cosmetic, ad-free, or convenience benefits. They are not fees for access to RivenLens' core grading, valuation, marketplace, or other core Service functionality.

RivenLens does not condition access to its core Warframe-related Riven grading and valuation functionality on Patreon membership under this version of the Terms. Supporting RivenLens is voluntary.

Optional supporter benefits may include benefits such as:

Supporter benefits, tier names, availability, and third-party platform features may change. A Patreon or other supporter platform is governed by its own terms, billing rules, cancellation rules, refund practices, and privacy policy. Unless RivenLens expressly states otherwise, the third-party supporter platform handles its own payment processing; RivenLens does not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers merely because a user supports RivenLens through that platform.

Financial support, Patreon status, advertising relationships, or sponsorship status do not purchase a more favorable Riven grade, a more favorable valuation, a different grading methodology, or preferential treatment in RivenLens' substantive grading or pricing analysis.

RivenLens may display passive advertising placements. Depending on the user's location, privacy choices, age information actually known to RivenLens or its advertising provider, and applicable law, an advertising provider may select ads using contextual information or permitted personalized/interest-based advertising information.

Where personalized advertising is permitted without prior opt-in consent, RivenLens may enable it by default while providing a reasonably accessible privacy setting to turn personalized advertising off. Turning personalized advertising off does not disable ordinary advertising; the user may continue to receive contextual or non-personalized ads. Where applicable law requires prior consent before personalized advertising or related storage/tracking technologies are used, RivenLens will request that consent before enabling the affected processing.

RivenLens will honor legally required opt-out preference signals, including qualifying browser or device signals, where applicable. If RivenLens has actual knowledge that a user is entitled to age-based advertising protections, RivenLens will apply the treatment required by applicable law and supported advertising-provider controls rather than relying on the ordinary default setting. RivenLens does not intend to collect a date of birth merely to serve advertising unless a later feature or legal requirement makes age information reasonably necessary.

RivenLens may also enter sponsorship relationships. Sponsorships and paid promotional placements will be identified in a manner reasonably designed to distinguish them from ordinary RivenLens editorial or product content. A RivenLens sponsor is not thereby affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Digital Extremes.

RivenLens intends to structure monetization consistently with applicable law and applicable third-party intellectual-property/content policies, including Digital Extremes policies governing Warframe fan content. RivenLens does not intend to charge users merely for access to third-party Warframe intellectual property or to imply that financial support purchases Digital Extremes content or endorsement.

Nothing in this section promises that any particular Patreon tier, advertisement, sponsor, supporter benefit, or monetization feature will be offered. If RivenLens later materially changes this model—for example by introducing a direct paywall for core functionality—RivenLens will review the legal and third-party-policy implications and update applicable terms before that model begins.

14. Suspension and termination

RivenLens may suspend, limit, or terminate access to an account, profile, marketplace listing, marketplace feature, or other Service functionality when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, confidential information, or RivenLens' rights; address suspected fraud or security threats; comply with law; enforce these Terms or the Beta Agreement; or discontinue a feature or program.

Where appropriate, RivenLens may provide notice or an opportunity to address a problem, but immediate action may be necessary for security, abuse, fraud, marketplace misconduct, or legal reasons.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not erase provisions that by their nature should survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, Feedback, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and legally required records.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivenLens and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available.” RivenLens disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade, to the extent those warranties may lawfully be disclaimed.

RivenLens does not warrant that grades, prices, market data, OCR results, marketplace listings, profile information, another user's representations, availability of a listed Riven, completion of a proposed trade, exports, or other outputs will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular transaction.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivenLens and its owner, operator, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost opportunities; lost data; loss of goodwill; or losses resulting from a user's reliance on a grade, price recommendation, market estimate, marketplace listing, another user or counterparty, third-party data source, or interrupted Service.

Without limiting the foregoing, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, RivenLens is not liable for a proposed user-to-user trade failing to occur or being completed on different terms, including because a seller withdraws, changes the asking price or terms, removes the listing, fails to respond, sells or trades the Riven to someone else in Warframe, or otherwise no longer has the Riven available; because a buyer withdraws or fails to respond; or because either user cannot or does not complete the trade in Warframe. RivenLens does not owe replacement Rivens, Platinum, reimbursement, lost-opportunity damages, or other compensation merely because another user failed to perform a proposed trade.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of RivenLens arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed US $25. This limitation does not create any right or entitlement to payment, compensation, or damages and applies only if RivenLens is otherwise found legally liable for a claim that may lawfully be limited.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability to the extent applicable law does not permit that limitation, including any liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RivenLens and its owner, operator, affiliates, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service, your material breach of these Terms, marketplace or profile content you submit, your conduct toward another marketplace user, or User Material you submit that infringes or violates a third party's rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify RivenLens for RivenLens' own unlawful conduct to the extent such an obligation would be prohibited by law.

18. Informal dispute resolution

Before filing a lawsuit arising from these Terms or the Service, you and RivenLens agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution.

This informal-resolution requirement does not prevent either party from seeking emergency or temporary injunctive relief where delay could cause irreparable harm, pursuing an eligible claim in small-claims court, or taking another action that applicable law does not permit these Terms to delay.

RivenLens does not require mandatory arbitration under this version of the Terms.

19. Governing law and venue

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to Section 18, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

Nothing in this section waives consumer protections or other rights that applicable law does not allow a party to waive.

20. Changes to these Terms

RivenLens may update these Terms as the Service changes. Each version will carry a version identifier and effective date.

For material changes that affect an existing contractual relationship, RivenLens may provide notice and require users to affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continuing to use affected account, beta, marketplace, supporter-linked, or other contractual features. Historical versions may be retained for legal and audit purposes.

Changes do not retroactively rewrite a prior version except to the extent expressly agreed or required by law.

21. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with any additional terms that expressly apply to a feature or beta program, form the agreement concerning your use of RivenLens. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign private beta access or these Terms where the assignment would transfer personal access rights without RivenLens' consent. RivenLens may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of the RivenLens business or assets, subject to applicable law.

22. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected]. Privacy-related requests may be submitted through the RivenLens Privacy Center or sent to [email protected]. Authorized beta participants may also use authenticated support and feedback channels made available in prerelease environments.
